Default Hard Primers

Seems like my recent 431PD .32H&R Magnum double action light strike problem was isolated to the box of Magtech .32 S&W Long JHP ammo I bought. My primary carry ammo (Georgia Arms 100 grain JHP .32H&R Mag) works fine in this gun shooting double action.

Are hard primers in Magtech ammo common?

I've used a lot of Magtech ammo and a good many of their primers and never noticed them being any harder than other primers I've used. That doesn't mean they aren't only that I've not noticed a difference...
