Default Federal LE9T5

How does every one feel about the Federal LE9T5 9mm +P 135 Grain Tactical Bonded JHP?

I picked up a couple hundred rounds at a decent price and wondered how it was regarded. I know its on Dr. Roberts recommended list.

Average Test Performance (Dr. Roberts)
Bare: 1070 fps / Penetration 16.0" / Expansion 0.58"
4-Layer Denim: 1067 fps / Penetration 16.3" / Expansion 0.55"

The published specs are 1060 fps but I believe thats minimum average for a lot to pass QC at the factory as is common for LE Ammo.

Is it reliable?? Accurate???
If so, you are good to go. If not, back to the drawing board.

reliability is job one for ammo in a self loading pistol.
I don't carry that ammo in my 9mm's, but the ammo I do carry has so far been 100% reliable...
I doubt there are enough real life shootings with it to make a decision other than these type of tests.....therefore, if you like it, a reliability evaluation is in order.

I have fired some and like it. It seems to expand well and penetrate sufficiently. 100% reliable in my guns.

It looks like promising stuff but has been pretty hard to find in decent quantity and price to really test it out much.
