.22 ammo

A buddy of mine has a S&W 422 Semi auto pistol and uses 22LR standard velocity ammo.
He wants to know if he can shoot 22LR HIGH Velocity through this pistol.

I don't see why he can't. What do the pros here say?

Why yes, yes he can.

The 422 should handle any .22LR round he wants to put thru it. IMO half the fun is trying a bunch of different stuff to see what it likes best. My 2206 prefers CCI mini-mags.

No problem. He can shoot any .22 LR ammo out there including the Velocitor or CCI Mini Mags if he so chooses.

generally accuracy goes into the ******* when you use the high velocity stuff...but give it a shot..its only a few bucks to see if your gun likes it
