Default Ammunition Price increase

I just checked by the Ammunition To Go Website and read a notice that they have posted concerning an increase in the price of ammunition on May 1st. Might not hurt to stock up before hand

It seems no matter where you buy ammo, they are always out of stock on most items.

Have to say my Walmart is full of 38 spc and 357 mag from Federal. Most others are in good shape too.

Oh no.......another "ammo scare" thread that's gonna cause everyone to clean out internet ammo sources

If anything, gas prices will increase shipping charges, but I think gas prices and the economy are causing people to buy less ammo. When you have children to feed and bills to pay, ordering another case of 9mm or .357 becomes less of a priority.

First of all there is no shortage.. My LGS buys ammo direct from the factory..( PMC Range Ammo) A trailer load at a time every other month 9 to 11 Pallets..

Average price increase was about 35 to 45 cents a box.. last load, last month.. That's shipped from overseas and trucked from Califorina to Florida..
Gonna guess about a .95 cents to 1.10 increase a box at the retail side..

No warning just a delivery and an invoice...

It just keeps making a case to start rolling your own (reloading).

It's on the list for my youngest this Christmas.....

I now reload .38 Special (thanks dad) and I use Snapcaps for dryfire. Lots of dryfiring.
