Default 9mm bullet

A week ago while on the firing range, a fellow shooter handed me a couple of this 9mm bullets that I am not familiar with. Any one out there seen one of these? Thanks!

I really don't think I'd consider shooting those, who knows who might have created it. Might be a heavy bullet subsonic load intended for sub-gun use.

Is the headstamp at all familiar to you?

Looks home rolled with roll crimp and 38spec bullet. Factory does not roll crimp 9mm ammo. Thats where it headspaces.

9mm "ACP"? I wonder if that is for Arms Corporation of the Phillipines?

It looks like it has enough of a mouth to headspace on.

The case is Armscor Precision of the Philippines. The bullet is nothing that I have ever seen and seriously doubt if it is actually a .355" bullet made for the 9x19mm cartridge.

From what I remember, he said he used to load it using his Jericho. I wouldn't really even dream of loading and firing this cartridge. Like you, I felt doubts on whether it's really a 9mm round or if it's even safe to use. The ACP is Arms Corp Philippines but other than that I have no idea what it is. The slug looks like no other I've seen, thus my curiosity. I may have to get in touch with the person who gave me these. I'll get back to you if he gives me anything useful to us.

Thank you for the inputs.

WOW! That looks just like one of those BRAND NEW 9mm Semi Jacketed Wadcutter Hollow Points. Maybe the FBI is looking into those, again.
