Where do you guys buy your ammo online?
I'm just looking for any suggestions for online ammo sources anyone has had good luck with, i.e., inventory, price, shipping, service, etc.
I'm sure there are many good ones but I've never bought any online before and even in a huge metro area I'm not finding the selection I want. Or maybe I'm just too picky, I don't know.

AimSuplus, Good prices, ships fast, been dealing with them for years. They are down on stock right now, like most others.

Ammoman.com is a good place. They only advertise what is in stock.

Just placed an order with Sportsman guide. They are offering free shipping. Customer service is awesome! I ordered 5.45x39 and they sent 1 box of 7.62x39. I got to keep that box plus they gave me a $10.00 credit. The box was just over $5.00.

For me the top 3 are
1. Aim Surplus
2. Ammunitiontogo.com
3.Sgamm.com
I shop between all 3 for the best price. All 3 have great customer service.

Ammunitiontogo.com for me also. But I do hate paying the shipping charges on ammo so only buy online when I can't find special ammo anywhere else.

Maybe obvious to most, but why do ammo supplies fluctuate? I use common 9mm 115 grain FMJ and am having difficulty finding favorite brands in the local shops.

Ammo to go, Midway, GunBroker.
At GB I buy from "SportsmansSupply" who offers bulk buy and free shipping.
I ordered twice and have no complaints at all. Very recommendable.

They probably never take ammunition back once it has been shipped, even if it is their mistake. Never know what the customer might have done with it while it was in their possession!

Ammo To Go,Palmetto State Armory, and Streicher's Police Supply. Who gets the order depends on who has what I want, more than a couple of bucks in price difference.
I've had good results with all three of these.

I have ordered Sportsmans several times, different calibers, and found the product and service to be great. You have to bid on and buy by the case, but it is about 50-80% cheaper than the WM prices.

Ammoman.com They ships free so the price you see is what you pay. I also like the fact that they show what is in stock, and what is not.

I've bought from several different places online but it's hard to find free shipping unless you buy a case. I'm going to check out Graf's. Has everyone that uses them been satisfied?

I've used Ammoman, Ammo To Go, Cabelas, CTD (Sorry), Natchez, Corbon, Double Tap, and Midway. No drama with any of them.
My buddy and I just split 2k of Federal XM193 shipped for $621.00. Ordered Friday, delivered Today.

Grafs and Sportsmansguide are my two main places online for ammo. The shipping can be cheaper than most other places.

Especially if you time it right with sportsmandsguide. Every weekend there is a different deal with either gift cards, free shipping, or something else that is useful.

All of the above mentioned are pretty good to deal with. I've purchased from each of them at least once each. You just have to shop around to see who has what in stock and who has a sale or promo code.

Lots of good info on where to buy.....the newbie asks:
1) When looking at 9mm ammo, some of the sites make reference to Hornady XTP - what does that mean and does it have any meaning when it comes to my M&P9?
2) From what little I understand, using 124 or 147 grain bullets (instead of 115 grain) just give you a little more knock down power, a little more recoil and are a little slower. Is that the only difference?

I use mostly SGAMMO...great service and you get a tracking UPS number.
I also use Georgia Arms...they are the best place to get .38 special ammo...just got 1000 round of 158 gr SWC delivered in a .50 ammo can for $232...that's $11.60/box of fifty...not counting the value of the ammo can.

For bulk purchases, I've had very good experiences with Luckygunner.com.
Being unable to find any Federal HST ammunition in my area, I recently ordered five boxes of this ammo in .45 ACP from AmmunitionToGo. Service was excellent!

Ammunition to go is where i buy from. You have to pay for ground shipping, but my orders always ship out within hours during working hours.
And they are CA friendly.
