All I can tell you is that Federal's "XM" products are special products that were rejected by the end user. Why it was rejected, I couldn't say, but it could be something like not meeting required velocity or no primer seal etc.

I had some 9mm that was made for the Taiwanese Police that didn't meet their strict water proof sealing. It was a hot load using a 124gr FMJ with a metal disc sealing the base of the bullet and using lead-free priming. It was a very good round and I should have bought a case or two of the stuff.

Thanks for the info. I have always used Silvertips or Ranger ammo in the past but ran across these and thought I'd maybe give them a try.

Thumbs up

Bought a case of this ammo for my Sig P229 and my M&P 40, excellent to say the least. Would buy another case if I had the money!

I just bought a case of Winchester government contract overruns from them. It's good ammo, IMO, and the $14.95/box price didn't hurt, either.
