Fiocchi 9mm ammo?
New shooter here so this is probably a dumb question.
I have Winchester 9mm 115 grain FMJ now and was wondering if the same ammo made by Fiocchi is just as good, worse or better?

No question is dumb, only the unasked question is.They are both good to shot. I have used for years with no problems.WWB is a little cheaper and carried local more often so thats what I use most. Welcome to the forum.

If you can get Fiocchi at a decent price then get it because it is quality ammunition I still have some that I bought in bulk! It is reliable and clean shooting and I would use all of it I could get given a good price for target shooting. For self defense I would use Federal Hydra-Shok, but that is my personal choice as well as many law agencies!

Thanks to both of you. Around here, the Fiocchi is about $30.00 per 100 and Winchester is about $26.00 per 100.

if you want to go cheap hollow point fiocchi is also the way to go. loaded with horniday extrema XTP bullets and a stainless casing. 50 rounds will run you about $24. which is super cheap and the stuff is utterly reliable and runs pretty clean

Federal Hydra-Shok is old technology. Federal HST is the new kid on the block.

I had the same question about Fiocchi as I wanted to get 9mm and 40sw and their prices are good. I'm glad to hear good results here so I'm gonna get some.
They'll be for my Sigma 9mm and Sig P250c 40sw. Also they be normal hollow points and none of that extreme stuff.

It seems clean shooting and is loaded a little hotter than most inexpensive practice ammo. All positives in my book.
