This may be a silly question but after my last question in which I learned the 32 S&W used in topbreaks was NOT the same as 32 S&W Long used in Hand ejector models, I just needed to clear this up. Soooooo........

Yes, it was used in the Victories sent to UK, since it's the same as their .38-200 service cartridge, but different from the .38 S&W Special used in stateside Victories. Hope this clears it up for you.

Yes. the 32 long is an improvement on the 32 S&W by extending the length. So the 32 long can shoot the 32 short. The 38 S&W is an obsoleted cartridge (but the same in TB and HW) as the .38 special was actually an improvement (lengthened) of the 38 colt. Meaning the 38 special cannot shoot 38 S&W but can shoot 38 colt.
