I took one of my Colt 1911's to the range today to test out Tulammo steel cased .45ACP. I have done a lot of work to this particular pistol as it is my main carry 1911 and have tuned it to eat any .45ACP I can feed it. I was very pleased with it today. over 100 rounds not a single feeding issue and fairly accurate.
The kicker is I just purchased a 625-3 and decided to test the steel .45ACP in that. I loaded up a few moon clips and fired away. My initial thoughts were good as it was very accurate, so I went to reload and fire again only to find the cases really did not want to come out. I had to tap on the ejector to extract them so that ended my experiment on the 625, I thought it would be less picky than a 1911.
