strange to ask but... ammo box for 22 jet? i cant find any that fit
I'm looking to find some of those plastic 50 round boxes to put my reloaded 22 jet ammo in. Everything I find doesn't work, and they just flop around in. Does anyone know what common ammo boxes might fit the jets odd ball short, tapered case?
Ya not the biggest issue posted here....but man its bugging me having them flop around in the case they are in!

It is based on the .357 case, but the bottom (front) of the case is .22, so it sounds you might need custom boxes for no rattling.

Go to a craft store, buy styrofoam blocks, cut to size wanted, press the cases into the blocks.

ammo case
All of my Jet plastic boxes are 357 magnum cases. They fit just fine.
But if you want No rattle, no nonsense try to find some Case-Gard-50 plastic cases. They are fitted for 22 hornet, small riffle, several calibers listed 30 carbine included. I don't know if they are still made, but they are really nice. mine are the RS-S-50 style, Just do a google search.
They have many styles, but say this one style is preferred because it seats the shells bullet end down. No rattle nothing. My case is a much older version, make sure to read all info there when making your choice.

To stop the rattle simply glue in a piece of styrafoam, not the flaky kind but the "other" kind into the lid. It willl put a little pressure on the case head or bullet tips and presto, no rattle.

cool thanks. I did see some listed wile searching for a 22 hornet, but wasnt sure how it would work. Right now I have them in the 38/357 mag boxes also. And it does work.. but they dont realy fit right. OK rattle is not realy the right term... they just kinda flop around... And I need to get more boxes anyways to hold reloaded 38/357 so I figure I would try to find some that fit the jet better, and use the boxes I have for the 38/357.
Ya... I know kinda a silly thing to ask, but I bet we all know that sometimes its the small stuff that realy buggs us.
