Question 410 shells...

Does anyone know where I can get high brass 3 inch game loads for around (or better than) .60 cents a shell?

$17.50 + is about the going rate for a box of small bore shotshells, I thought maybe some of you folks knew of a better deal out there.

2 &1/2 inch shells are at every Wal-Mart for around $10 to $12 a box but the 3 inch shells are a harder find.

Thanks for the help.

GF

Only thing I have seen is Nobel sport in #7.5 shot for $10 a box on ammunition to go.

Have you looked into loading 410? If you shoot a lot of 410 huge savings there, not so much with 12 & 20 but a $75 used MEC single stage can go a long way. You can get 100 new primed 3" shells for less than $17.

The 3 inch hulls are usually used for hunting and will carry
a premium price tag.
All small bore shotgun shells like the 16,28 and 410 are in
the high dollar market and can cost twice as much as a 20 or 12 Ga. trap load.
If you shoot the 410 or 28 Ga, you need lots of money for those factory loads, no way around it. It is the cost of owning a "Specialty gun ".

Good luck finding ammo.
