Happened to be near a Cabelas at lunch time and stopped by on the off chace they had ammo. Low and behold the shelves were full but they were limiting purchases to 5 boxes of CF or one box of RF. They let me slip thought with one brick of 22 LR and a box of 17 HMR but would not let me buy two bricks.

When I got home I told my wife I'd found a brick of 22s and her comment was "Great, we have spare 22LR again". Not quite sure when MY ammo became OUR ammo but I guess I really don't care. I'm slowly seeing more on the shelves so hopefully things are returing to normal.

Excellent! Now you can both enjoy spending a day at the range! Very cool!

Congrats on the big score! Have not actually seen any .22 on a shelf for a long while.

I was not exactly out of 22LR but my 10/22 TD loves this Remington stuff and I was getting close to my last brick of this particular ammo. So I was happy to find some on the shelf.
