I placed an order on the 19th and it shipped on the 29th, not too bad IMO considering their 2-3 week estimate.

I used to use a lot of their ammo. It's dirty but shipping started taking a very long time and I decided it wasn't worth it anymore.
Once people slow down on buying I have lots of brass to send in for their program

With shipping, a 500rd order comes out to a bit over 40 cents a round. That is way to much for 9mm range ammo in my opinion. Maybe if I was desperate for ammo .... but I'm not yet. Hopefully the 1500rds I have will last until the shortage ends. I run into a bit at Walmart on occasion anyways

They are slow on shipping it. I talked to them and they said it takes 5-10 business day to ship. They said they only had the capacity to ship 350 orders a day. I told them they needed to say that on the web site, instead of just showing processing for two weeks. All told it took 3 weeks from order to arrival. Even UPS used the slowest way possible took six days from MT to north TX

It may be high priced BUT FM hasn't been listing anything on line for months and only recently have we started to see quantity from them. As for price, I agree it's high and it MAY come down but I wouldn't expect it to drop too much over the next few months if at all. As I've said before, as long as demand is high, and producers such as FM can meet that demand AND get what they want for it, why would you ever think the price would drop? It will only come down if they(manufactures) continue at the pace they are producing at now and nobody buys and inventory rises. In order to reduce that inventory, they MIGHT cut prices, but again why? In all likelihood, they will let inventory fall(selling product until it's at an acceptable level), cut back production(no more running 24-7 since demand won't be there) and let the market dictate the price. Like it or not, I would bet we won't see much of drop in months if at all. I hope I'm wrong, but just look at gas prices. Have they gone down to what they were 4-5 yrs ago? Did you expect them to?

Just checked my records and I paid $44.79 for 250 rounds of 9mm(as well as some 38 special at $11.99/box) on November 3, 2012.
IMO, it was great range ammo at the November price. At the current prices, I'm not in too big of a hurry to order any more.

I paid about $150(shipping included) for 500 rnds of 223 back in october 2012. Well 2012 is in the rear view mirror along with the prices. Freedom Munitions is now putting ALOT of ammo online now, compared to just a month ago, all kinds of calibers and I see no indication that they, or anyone else is coming back down to those 2012 prices again. Just look at gunbot.
Anyway, here's what FM has RIGHT NOW:

I just ordered the 9mm 124 gr. XTP Hornady @ 44 cents a round
that's not bad for quality new hollow point ammo in my opinion, especially since the only hollow points I have seen being sold anywhere want $1 per round or more

The ammo does shoot good, no problems at all, shipping is a little slow but customer service is very good. A bit pricey I guess but what isn't today.

Their shipping has spead up. In May I ordered 500rnds 40 S&W and it took them 2 weeks before I got shipping info/tracking # and then a week to ship. On 28JUN(last friday) I ordered .380 in the morning. I received the conformation with the warning "that due to high demand, your order may take 2-3 weeks for shipping". But by that same afternoon I had a tracking number. Expected delivery is the 5th. That's a MUCH faster turn around(one week) than I've seen from them since last Oct! And I'm sure that if it weren't for the holiday, I see it sooner!

500 rnds 9mm with shipping is .34 per round. I can't find it here for that price.

UPDATE: well after I finally got my ammo it was a bait and switch! they advertised 9mm 124 gr. XTP Hornady @ 44 cents a round yet what they sent me was just plain old generic no name brand hollow points made by freedom munitions NOT XTP Hornaday HP rounds. I wont make that mistake again!
anyone if you order from freedom munitions you are only getting freedom munitions own ammo no matter what misleading way they try to misrepresent it.
is it the end of the world? no but I wanted high quality ammo for SD rounds so these are not something I have faith I can depend on to do the job correctly. I guess I just have a lot more expensive range ammo now, just wish I didn't buy 500 rounds of it.
yes I know, bullet placement is key, any bullet placed right does the job, blah blah blah, but when you might not be as accurate in HD situations I want every advantage ?(no matter how small) that a high quality round can give me so a not so well placed shot still does sufficient damage

Keaker,
Have you called them? They do show they make both the Hornady and plain HP. They are very busy and could have made a mistake. If they dont fix the mistake then its time to complain on here.
I know i wasnt happy with the slow shipping but they seem to be picking up speed and THEY LOWERED THEIR PRICE ALREADY!
