Military ammo question...
I assume this is belt fed 30.06 machine gun ammo(blanks)
all 12 feet of it.
Any clue as to value ?
Found at a yard sale.
Thanks in advance.

Nope , It's 7.62x51mm NATO blanks. Made at the Lake City ammo plant in 1967. And it's for an M-60.
30-06 is longer and links for a 1919 Browning are different.

As far as value... I don't know. What did you pay for it? Can't really shoot it more than one shot at a time without a blank firing adapter.

At 12' in length, that's probably a standard 250-rd belt, and given that all the blanks are still loaded, I'd estimate its gunshow value to be something like $150-200, given the current climate. HTH

I've got a few belts myself. Occasionally , I'll pop a 20rd mag or 2 off thru my M-1A with it's blank adaptor attached.
FWIW , the brass isn't good for reloading. Even if ya cut and trim to length , the neck area isn't annealed. I thinks the primer flash holes might be bigger too.
