Does anyone know if Colt re-brands Aguila .22 ammo? I heard that at a LGS today.

I've seen Black Hills .223 Rem and a Russian made 7.62x51mm box with the Rampant Colt image, but no .22 rimfire yet.

Yes, sort of. It is Aquilla ammo that they print Colt and the pony on the box. My LGS had some last month.

I don't think Colt is behind it. My guess is that Aquilla is paying Colt a royalty to use their name.
