no powder appropriate for targets?
When ammo became expensive and scarce, I put my beloved 617 away for a while. Now ammo prices are coming down, but .22LR is still somewhat hard to get and rather stiff around her. I found a bunch of .22LR for a good price that advertises that 1] can't be cycled in semi-automatics because 2] it has no powder in it but fires solely from the primer.
Would this be suitable target ammo for my 617 revolver? I really miss shooting my .22LR--it was so relaxing!

I have run the Aguilia super colibri in my revolvers with no issue.... remember though, you basically have a low powered pellet gun (400-500 fps I think it was). I would make sure they clear your bore well before trying any speedy shooting....

Speer Plastic bullets
Speer plastic bullets for targets that are powered by a large pistol primer surprise me with the power that they get. I wouldn't want to be hit by one.

The Speer large primer plastic projectiles will put a very nice hole in a commercial plastic trash can!

Not in my experience.
The Aguila Colibri and Super Colibri displayed lackluster accuracy in a couple of my pistols.
If you are just plinking cans, then yeah.

22 shorts and longs seem to be a little easier to find. I would consider them a better choice but the cylinder chambers must be cleaned well or lr's will be difficult to load.
