Thumbs up .223 prices back on Earth.

Was at a gunshow this morning and one table had 1000rd (50boxes of 20rds) cases of Prvi Partizan for $369 and $75 for a 200rd sealed pack of 10 boxes. Was on my motorcycle or I'd have grabbed one.

Is that a good price for PP .223 ammo? I know the last time I looked Lake City .223 ammo was $499/1000 but I don't know about the PP ammo.

I won't be happy until 1000 rounds are under $250 again. ($200 is even better)

Not too long ago 1000 rounds of .223 was $199 and 1000 rounds of 7.62X39 was $99. I know we will never see that again but the closer it gets the better IMO.

Unhappy

I guess it was back around 2000 , I recall buying Bosnian black-tip (SS-109eqv) for $159/1000 loose in a tall .50cal can. It was good stuff too!

Fed Lake City XM-193 in 20rd cartons was $179/1000

Brass cased 55gr FMJ Norinco yellow box w/ red lettering was $1.99 box/20. Surprisingly good Boxer primed brass for reloading.

Brit/Port/Span 7.62 was $129-149 case/1000.

9x19 NATO was $99/1000 shipped to my door.

Those were the days my friends!

Gun show in Bowling Green this weekend still had almost all .223 at $.55-.60 per round. Just walked on buy. Everything else was gold plated pricing also.
