PPU Ammo
Anyone have experience with PPU ammo. MY WM has it from time to time. JHP for $19 / 50 box.

Serbian stuff. Works fine but never the cleanest, nor the most accurate nor the most powerful. It is on the less expensive side. I've fired a few hundred rounds of it in various calibers and will buy it in preference to the steel cased stuff but would happily pay a couple bucks more for a box of S&B.

Thanks for the replies. I was surprised to see it on the shelf, and even more surprised to see it still there a couple of days later. So, I was just wondering about the quality. Buyers either didn't see it, which I doubt, or were avoiding it. People scour those shelves like they haven't eaten in a month and looking for food. Me too sometimes.

I consider PPU handgun ammo as being for the range, but nothing else.

Their rifle ammo is about the same; dependable and reasonably consistent, but not much more so than good milsurp.

I found it to be weak and inconsistent in 9mm, actually had one dud out of a box of 50.

Good for plinking, it does not expand in testing. It's definitely not a SD round.

Good stuff in my experience , which has been limited to rifle ammo. Prvi Partizan used to be imported years ago under the Hansen Cartridge Company label.

Good range ammo. Not the hottest. Never had accuracy issues but I dont shoot bullseye or bench any weapon. So for me its just fine.
