Hardest hitting deepest penetrating .500 mag load?
I currently shoot Double Taps heaviest .500 mag hard cast. It's extremely accurate. Where else should I look for .500 mag heavy loads?

Grizzly Cartridges makes some very accurate and high quality ammo.
500 Smith & Wesson
They also sell a "Punch bullet" load for most calibers.
Grizzly Cartridges is a class act and so is Cast Performance bullets, their sister company.

What are you after? Or is this for competition/accuracy contests?

Ought to open up a Campbell's soup can, pretty well..........

I would love to see the penetration data for these loads. I guess the question to ask is if I would prefer it be measured in yards or meters...

While looking at the ammo makes on the net who produce 500 Magnum ammo like Double Tap, Buffalo Bore, Grizzly Cartridges, Cor-Bon and even Hornady, Magtech, Remington and Winchester and one thing struck me like a brick, All cost between $49 to $70 for only 20 rounds!!!!! (the ammo using Punch bullets costs $130/20 rounds)
If ever there was a handgun cartridge that screams handload this one does!
With a 400gr Hornady XTP bullet and your saved once fired brass you can build a box of 20 rounds for only $15.30. For only $38.24 you can build 50 rounds which is less than you pay for 20 rounds of factory ammo. You can save a ton of cash and also tailor your rounds any way you want. You can make light practice loads and heavy hunting loads with any bullet you choose for about 25% of Retail costs.
