That was probably about $200.00 worth of collector grade ammo you burned up today.
Just kidding... The brass from the center box may have some value to some guys, since it should be match wadcutter brass.

They are some pretty boxes and I could always use more brass myself.

Unless you are an ammo collector or just nostalgic, you probably did the right thing since your ammo though old, is not really worth too much. I have been collecting older ammo for many years and and have since shot some of it. How much can one save? The stuff I really like I am keeping, the other stuff I'll use.
In fact I just used a box of Winchester 12 gauge #6 Hi Brass shells from either the late 50's or early 60's last week while Pheasant Hunting. I felt good about it since it was my late Dad's ammo.

Winchester and Western before they were just W-W, and the early Super X. Are there Olin markings on either of the yellow boxes?

This ammo probably dates to the mid-to late 60's. I can remember buying it off the shelves new as late as the early 70's.

Hi-
Sebago Son is right on the date. I have the same box (bottom one 38S1P) of Win. Western .38 that was purchased new in 1965.

Thanks for the input, guys.
The Western X does have Olin marked on the underside.
