Default Its delivery day.

A couple tins of 7.62x54R should arrive this afternoon. Looks like a tip to the range friday with the Mosin.

An under rated rifle in the USA that's cheap to buy and cheap to shoot. Fact that ammunition is readily available truly helps.

I wouldn't say they're really "underrated." Under-priced" maybe. Everyone seems to agree that they're a nice quality "workhorse" rifle, it's just that there's still so darn many available. Kind of like when I was a kid, when every outdoor magazine had ads in the back for M-1 carbines at $79.

The days of $79, what I've paid for round and hex 91/30 and $129 for a M38, are gone cheapest I see them now in $129 for a 91/30 and over $200 for a M38. My UPS driver doesn't like the wooden crate deliveries. They are heavy still cheap but will dry up one day like all good things.

Well the ammo showed up but I never made it to the range. I picked up some bug and it's been keeping me bed ridden. Blasted lungs sound like a drag racer when I'm laying down.
