45 auto rim Update #10
Anyone know where I might find 45 auto rim at under $100.00 for 500?
Edit I just need the brass.

Steal it, maybe? I'd pay that for any centerfire ammo these days in a skinny minute.

IF you can find it you will be lucky to pay as little as $250/500, and probably more like $300. This is in addition to shipping because you will most likely need to order it. Most center-fire handgun cartridges haven't been $10/50 since the 1970s, or 80s at the latest.
Except for custom loaders, since Star Line has been making AR brass, the only company that has ever loaded AR to my knowledge is Remington, and they only run a lot infrequently.
I would second Pisgah, except you need to find it first to steal it, and that isn't likely!

I have 5 1/2 boxes of 45 auto rim I no longer need. Sold my S&W 22-4 about a year ago. I don't see me getting another. So this ammo is just taking up space. I know what I paid new, but what's it really worth now? It's all about 2 years old.

200 rounds of Double Tap
50 rounds of Black Hills
and 1/2 box of vintage Remington I got at a garage sale last summer.

Maybe Trolley just wants to buy brass, not ammo.

Hell, for $300--you can get six 100 rd boxes--from WalMart--and still have pocket money. I saw an older gent just this afternoon, buy three 100 rd boxes which came out to around $135.00.

They have .45 Auto RIM ammo at Walmart? Amazing!
I've got a few hundred rounds for my Model 1955, but it's not going anywhere except downrange.

You're thinking 45 ACP. 45 Auto Rim isn't exactly Walmart material.
