Question Stuck: now what?

Last year when ammo prices went nuts went to buy some extra ammunition. Now that I have gained more familiarity with guns and ammunition, I realize that some of the ammo that I bought was not the type that I requested. I don't think that it was a deliberate act by the people who waited on me; they probably just didn't know and wouldn't admit it.

Now what? I have ammunition that I can't use. I can't return it because all ammo sales are final.

Got any ideas? Thanks

Ask around at the range. Did you buy Long Colt instead of ACP?

Depending on what the "wrong" ammo is, it may not be that difficult to find someone to trade with you

Ammo can be shipped, it just needs to be declared as such and carry the correct markings(ORM-D). It also has to go UPS or FED-EX, and both have some specific requirements about where you can drop it off. The few times I've shipped ammo, I took it to the UPS hub in town and was able to ship without incident.

A good start might be to post a list of what you have here...perhaps as a wanted to sell or wanted to trade ad.

Or buy a gun in the calibers for which you already have ammo

Nope. Wanted Long Colt; got ACP instead. Also got the wrong rifle ammo.

Sell it, trade it or better yet buy something that will shoot it.

What state you located maybe someone close can help you out.

45 ACP ammo should be real easy for you to sell or trade to someone. A lot of folks have pistols that use 45acp. And you can probably do the same with the rifle ammo you spoke of also, Good Luck. Ray
