38 Spl NyClad ammo
I have a full box (50 Rounds) of S&W 38spl ammo with 125 gr Ny Clad HP bullets. I don't know if this ammo is still made or how old it is. Just curious if it has any value to collectors of things S&W?

Gator, not sure about value other then I would like to have some of it. I do remember it being available in the early to mid 70's. Cool to have if the box is complete and intact. Kyle

While I am sure there are at least a few people collecting the S&W brand ammo there can't be many of them. I've been dealing in ammo for a while and it's hard to get any premium over current ammo for the S&W stuff. Being nyclads (which has always had it's own little niche of popularity) you might get a little more than the value of new Hollow Points but it might take a while to find a buyer. At least that's been my experience.

Are you sayin' '.38 S&W special 'or 'S&W' .38 special?
The only NyClads I have are Federal.
They are among the best .38 specials there is.
I have maybe 2 or 3 boxes left, and I don't believe they are a current production item.

Don't know what OP has, but S&W did manufacture .38 Special ammunition with "Nyclad" bullets. This may have been before they were sold by Federal.

The cartridges I have are nickel plated and head stamped S&W 38 SPL +P if that clears it up. The box is blue and white with the name Nyclad in orange letters. The back of the box says S&W Ammunition Company, Rock Creek, Ohio 44084
