Default 22 lr, almost a laughable find..
A new Academy Sports opened a couple of miles from me today..I have received in the mail a few coupons for $ 10.00 off on purchases...Lot's of footwear and clothing exclusions...
Not on their ammo...
An example...22 cal Winchester 333 rd bulk, listed for 14.99, before taxes...Take ten bucks off that...
I bought other ammo, as well...

Fantastic buy! Unfortunately all my great buys on .22 LR were quite some time ago. One was during Wal Mart’s after Christmas sale of gift wrap. Bulk Remington .22 LR in holiday tin cans was among the half price decorations. I bought all they had, approx. a half dozen tins. Remington’s bulk was never first choice in my K 22s so it didn’t get shot. Now that I have to save better .22s for matches I am happy to have anything for practice so I’m shooting Remington. Half price doesn’t match the two thirds off you got but it was before ammo prices went up.

It gets better ! I ran copies of my $10 off coupon..
Just todays deals..Keep in mind, I left the store and put each purchase in my car and returned..
CCI 22 Mini Mags, 36 gr hp, 300 rds at $23.99, less coupon = $15.21 out the door..1 trip..
American Eagle 9mm 115 gr fmj, $13.99, less coupon = $4.34 out the door...3 trips..
Coupons are good until the 21st....
It is the stores initial opening and there must be 20 check out lines..I am done for the day, always tomorrow..

You guys hit the "Jack Pot" and a very good reason to smile, nothing going on like that around this neck of the woods! Limited amount (one per customer) of the .22LR if & when they have it.

I feel that I should add...There is plenty of ammo at this store and I don't consider my purchases "hoarding", since I am not depriving anyone from buying..
Oh yeah, limit of 1 box of bulk 22 ammo...

I think the worst find I found with .22 was the box of 50 Federal rounds at a local gun shop, for $23 each. Nothing special, but the same Federal three or four years ago I was paying $4 for a box of 50.
