Is Fiocchi ammo good stuff?
Over the years I have had a good impression on the quality of Fiocchi ammo. I have recently noticed that the pricing of Fiocchi is VERY competitive (read inexpensive). I picked up a box of 9mm for a GREAT price, now I see that their 45ACP is on sale for $18...(50 ct and brass!) at Cabelas. Did something happen there at Fiocchi,... or do I need some edjumacashun?

I've never had a problem and it sounds like you haven't either, yet. Why worry if nothing's happened so far? (yet )
Don't want to jinx it but could things be getting back to "normal" ?

It's good ammo. I don't remember it ever being overly expansive on common calibers. Besides, as you said. ..it's on sale for $18

I stopped by a Gander Mtn the other day and they had a decent price on Fiocchi 9mm, so I bought a $100. worth. I have shot it before without any problems.

I've burned a ton of it and always buy it if I find it locally so I don't have to pay shipping. Never had a problem.

Since they now have facilities in the US, there could be advantages of shipping, taxes, costs.
I've seen a lot of "sales" on ammo the last few weeks, and Cabela's has shelves full again (except .22). Supply is up, demand is down, sales happen.

Very good ammo IMO. I've shot a bunch of their 9mm and 38spl.

I've shot a lot of it in different calibers and have always been satisfied.

Fiocchi is about my top choice these days. It's almost displaced CCI as my favorite .22LR because of its cleanliness, and it's CF ammo is just as good. Consistent, too, and some of it's pretty much on the hot side.

My wife and I use the 71gr FMJ .32ACP load in our KelTec P32's and it's been 100% reliable and reasonably accurate as far as accuracy in these little guns go. IIRC the listed velocity is a bit hotter than similar loadings from other makes.

I have been pleased with Fiocchi.
Consistent. Inexpensive. Available.
Triple threat!
I've had good luck with RWS also. You never know where it was made, though. Could be Sweden, could be Russia, but it always goes bang, and the price and availability is always good.
