22 long rifle ammo from 1911 ish
Looking for some suggestions for ammo boxes for a display of 1911, 1912 era .22 revolvers.
Does anyone have any photos of ammo boxes from that timeframe? Or boxes for sale?
Thanks,

I was going to send you a link to Winchester vintage ammo boxes but it has been taken down. If you do a Google search for vintage .22 rimfire boxes you will find many pic's. Then try other brands too.

There are some other great resources on the IAA website which go into great detail on .22 ammunition boxes, old and new. There are many collectors of old .22 boxes, and early ones can get very pricey, at least those in high condition, so don't expect to find anything cheap from the early 20th century. I'll see if I can find a link, but I know that IAA is having some website problems at present - they may have been hacked.
Look here - everything you will ever need to know about .22 boxes: http://22box-id.com/
