Default Hydra Shok v. HST

While searching for ammo, I notice that the original Federal Hydra Shok is more expensive than the HST (Hydra Shok Two).

I thought that the new HST was superior to the Hydra Shok.
Same nickel plated brass and specs. Am I missing something?

The HST was primarily designed for LEO and the Hyrda Shok is more known among concealed carriers even though it's old technology. Supply, demand and reputation.

The HST is considered by many to be better but the Hydra Shok is still a good choice.
