Question Target-grade .44 magnum

Hello folks,

Can anyone suggest a target grade .44mag brand/load please?

I am about a year away from having the space to reload, so I need to acquire a commercial loading.

I'm looking for something hotter than cowboy loads, but something that won't beat me to death with a single cylinder. Something like a 240gr. FMJ at around 950 -1000 fps seems about right, unless folks with more experience would care to make a recommendation.

Thanks !

Blazer Aluminum pushes a 240gr 950-1175fps from a 2.5"-8.3" barrel. I've heard HPR is softer still, it wouldn't cycle a friend's Desert Eagle while Blazer would.

Try Georgia Arms, they have a 240gr LSWC at a clamed 1,100 fps.

The HPR sounds just about right for the target shooting needs.
