Some time back in a discussion about off-brand .22 ammo I mentioned that I had purchased 2 bricks of Armscor .22LR just as the great ammo shortage began. I had FTF, FTE and burst cases in a variety of rifles and handguns before deciding to quit shooting it before I ruined something.
I don't recall (senior moment) whether it was someone on this forum or a friend I told elsewhere, but someone asked if I had checked for a recall or contacted Armscor's customer service department. I had done neither.
Since then I have done both. There was no recall, so I went to Armscor's website and used their customer service chat to describe my experience. The following morning I received an email with a return form and prepaid Fed-Ex label. I shipped the remaining ammo (1 unopened brick and 4 loose boxes). About 2 weeks later I received a check for the original purchase price of both bricks, which will now buy me one brick if I get a good deal.
I consider this excellent customer service. In fact, I would consider buying their product again (although probably in smaller lots at first).
Since I criticized their quality control publicly, I felt compelled to praise their customer service here as well.
