Gentlemen,

I picked up a couple boxes of Hornady Critical Defense 357 Magnum ammo featuring the 125 FTX bullet today at the gun show. The advertised velocity on the box is 1500 f.p.s., but I believe (according to a google search) that this speed is recorded from an 8" barrel.

Has anyone shot and chronographed this ammo from a 4" barrel?

I've read the "estimated" velocities from a 4" barrel online, just hoping someone has some actual, real world chronograph data.

I'll be using it in a model 19.
