Remington .44 Magnum Ammo
I have a couple of 20 round boxes of Remington 240 grain JSP ammo from the past. My Father used this ammo in his Ruger Deerslayer .44 Carbine.
Is this ammo still available ?
Thanks,
Jimmy

I haven't found any in a while.
I've been watching for those, and for the Remington 210 gr JSP's in 41 Mag as well. If you happen to find some, please let me know.

Remington lists it as stock/index number RTP44MG2. Whether you can find any at a dealer is another question entirely, but it is still listed. https://images.remington-catalog.com/56899bc5bfc49

Try some of the On-line sellers if you strike out locally.

And, if you're on a budget, you might try the Fiocchi version at $12.00 less per box:
Fiocchi .44 Rem Magnum 240 Grain Soft Point FIO44A Ammo

I've seen 50 round boxes but have not seen the green and yellow 20 round boxes in years. I remember they came packaged 2 ways, a 20 round square box and a 20 round rectangular box with 2 rows of 10 rounds, I still have several of both, plus a 50 round box or two.

Somebody gave me a green and yellow rectangular box of 20 yesterday, complete with white fuzz on the lead soft points. I plan to wipe it off with a rag and shoot it in a Model 29. What kind of velocity are we talking here?
PS: came with six 50 round boxes Federal Lightning 40 g. hollowpoint .22 cal rimfire in red and black boxes!!
