Anyone shoot Black Hills Ammunition ?
Daughters boyfriend gave me 100 rounds of Black Hills Ammunition .. Appears to be re-manufactured ..
its 40S&W 180 grain FMJ !! Their web site says 950fps on specs ..
No specs on the boxes that are a teal blue color ..
Has any one else shot this ?? How did you like it ? Was the accuracy any good ?

I've shot plenty of their .45 Colt cowboy action ammo and it was great. They are a good company and a quality product.

Forgot also shot a bunch of their .223 loaded with 45 grain Nosler BT's that is super accurate in my heavy barrel Winchester 70.

Black Hills is excellent ammo, although I don't own a .40. My M&P 9C prefers 115gr +P and my Beretta 92 compact shoots most accurately with their standard velocity 124gr. This is after trying different brands and bullet weights in both.
FWIW, currently all branches of the US military buy 77gr 5.56 match ammo from Black Hills, although I suspect very little of it is actually used on paper.

I do not have a .40 but I have used their 9mm, .45acp & .45 Colt, all very good, consistent ammo, never a problem.

I have used .308 & .30-06. A highly regarded manufacturer known for very accurate re manufactured ammo, as well as brand new. It's all good, so I don't care how they do it.

BHA produces top notch stuff, I have shot several pistol calibers, new and re-manufactured, incl. the load in question. It burns clean and it is very reliable as well as accurate.
