When I bought my 65-4 4" years ago The guy at the gun shop gave me a box of UMC 125 grain jacketed soft point. Those things were absolutely hot. The roar was only outdone by the recoil. This was before I knew better than to shoot those in a K frame. So then before I heard about the lighter grain bullets being potentially harmful to the forcing cone, I bought a few boxes of the 110 grain JHP WWB .357's. They are a lot milder than the UMC's and very accurate out of my 65. My question is, since they seem not so hot, the 110's, do you think they would be harmful to shoot through my 65? My gun is in excellent condition and I want to keep it that way. I have been shooting 158 grain for a long time, but I hate to leave these 110 grainers just laying around. In the picture with the gun, that is just an old box that I found after my Mom passed and we were cleaning out her house. It is full of factory reloads in .38 special. LRN's. I'm afeared to shoot them.
Thanks for your opinions on the WWB 110 grain rounds,
Peace,
gordon
