Sub $10 Perfecta 9mm at Wallyworld
I took my normal saunter past the ammo case in Walmart this morning and saw 100's of boxes of Perfecta 9mm FMJ 115gr (brass case) for $9.87/50. I hadn't seen sub $10 retail for a long time.
I didn't really need any but I grabbed 5 for the stash. There were people buying 10's and 20's at a time. The counter help said there was more in the back. Unfortunately, .38, 40 and 45 weren't so well priced. Sometimes it's just easier than reloading

I've bought about 10 boxes of the Perfecta 45acp @ $15.44 that group well from my 3 45acp revolvers between 10yds and 50ft at a local indoor range.
Perfecta cases are brass boxer primed and good to reload.

It is made by Fiocchi for Tula. Some people complain about it not running well but I have never had any issues with it. I have shot their 9mm, 380 auto and 45 ACP.
Some of the better budget ammo on the market IMHO. It is only $.20 per round 9mm that you don't have to buy in bulk these days.

I have used the .380, 9mm, .38, .45, and .223 without any issue at all. Mostly 9mm, and I buy it when they have it.

All of the Perfecta I have shot has been great, at $9.79 a box you can't beat it, plus as said the brass is nice if you reload.

Ammo is still somewhat scarce which is a great argument for having a weapon is every popular caliber

I dunno jimmy, I see plenty of ammo in every gun store, and online. I say gun store cause not all Walmart sell ammo to begin with and I don't count them as measurement of the price or amount of ammo available

I would have agreed until about 15:00 yesterday afternoon. Guys at Wal-Mart and Academy were literally loading store carts, and clearing the economy areas of the shelves. I did buy a couple of boxes each of my common Perfecta choices at the one Wal-Mart where they still had some.
Only went out because by noon SGAmmo had sold out of the .45 that I like in case lots. Go look at their site today - the availability is nearing bare shelves on the common range ammo in all calibers.
I said something last week about not seeing panic buying soon. Was I ever wrong.

I've bought a few boxes of Perfecta 9mm and it shoots great. Around the Walmart here I'm able to find most of the major centerfire calibers in that brand. .38 Spl sells for $14 and .357 for $16. Can't beat those prices for brass.

Bought a fairly nice Model 39-2 that came with 2 S&W 8rd single stack mags 2 days ago for $350 OTD.Most of the original finish still there but some very small dings and scratches.
I stopped at Walmart on the way home and bought 10 boxes of Perfecta 9mm.
At 10yds indoors it shoots clover leafs;at 50' it's 1 1/2" groups.
Never owned a 9mm before

None of the economy brands of 9mm or .223 was on the shelves today at both Wal-Mart and Academy. Just the high-priced stuff.

I have 3 Walmarts about 10 to 15 minutes away by car.
A 4th Walmart closed in late January.
Only one of the 3 gets resupplied regularly with Perfecta center fire and various brands of 22s.
To take advantage of the supply one usually needs to get there about 8AM.
