Work fine on our little whitetail Oklahoma deer. I roll my own with W296.
Friend peeled 6 off the chest of an Alaskan bear that died from a rifle.
The soft point Remington 158s are not made for penetration, but a NOSLER is, and works better on pigs. I never shot a bear, never plan to.
By the way, I've seen cast bullets hit a bone in a pig and stop right there. Like BearBio, I think hunting pigs with a .357 is great fun until the big one shows up...where's the tree?
