I bought a couple of cases from Target Sports less than 20 minutes ago. Cases were $170/case free shipping - that is 34¢/round. Their web page showed more than 99 cases in stock prior to my order. I was about to furnish the link to a friend, but I checked it to verify no changes.

GONE!

Several vendors have the product at about half-a-buck/round. Those who are comfortable using this ammunition - I suggest you replenish. Such a run on ammunition as I noted may indicate a shortage is coming.

It's back to 99+ in stock

Mine is back, too. I wonder if there is a limit per customer, or something. I wonder where all the 38 spcl is going? I selected Federal and Remington and hid everything that was out of stock...not much was left.

BTW, I grabbed 3 boxes from them today.

What was the company that was considered the best manufacture of .38spl 158 grain LSWC-HP Plus P (The FBI/Secret Service load) ?

If people keep saying another ammo shortage is coming it will be a self fulfilling prophecy. Actually, some might say we are still in a shortage since there us still very little SD ammo available.

We seem to be our own worst enemy. I sadly don't see that changing any time soon.

Everybody take a deep breath. There is no shortage! Lots of ammo, including Gold Dots and Golden Sabers, all at great prices. Just because one site has crummy stock levels doesn't mean that's true for all. See:
