Personally, I think the best way to describe the previous SXT S38SP 130gr JHP was as a "Talon-less Talon derivative".
I helped burn up several cases of the old W-W 110gr JHP +P+ when it was being cycled out of service as revolvers were being phased out. It had some stout muzzle blast and a bit of muzzle whip, and I was very careful of what revolvers I used to shoot it. (Meaning Magnum revolvers or an early 640 that was marked rated for +P+.)
The PDX1 & RA38B are apparently differently packaged versions of the newer load defensive +P
bonded load Winchester has decided to offer both LE/Gov and the private/commercial shooters.
