Default Can Shield handle +p ammo

Is anyone shooting the Shield 9mm and using +p? Can it handle a steady diet of +p or occasionally use +p or NO +p ever?

You can use +P but it may result in need of more frequent service.

Never use +P+ ammunition.

I carry +P and practice with my 9mm range ammo in the same bullet weight, standard pressure.
That's what most people do that shoot a lot, like competitors. No point of beating yourself up in practice with hot ammo. The gun won't blow up, but it may wear faster, and you certainly will.

yes, it is made to shoot +P ammo.
But +P ammo in most guns will wear faster than non +P ammo with a steady diet.

The Shields can. But___Smith & Wesson, as well as all of the other pistol manufacturers caution about using +P all the time in that it will cause faster wear on the pistol.
I carry +P for my EDC pistol. I use FMC range ammo (124 gr.) for practice.
