Default BB's 20A/20 & 357 125-grain JHP compared?

There is substantial discussion about the superior handgun self-defense effectiveness of Buffalo Bore's 20A/20 38 Special +P 158-grain LSWC-GC-HP in snub nose revolvers - that is 2- through 3-inch barrels.

There also appears to be near unanimity that the 357 Magnum 125-grain JHP ammunition is at the top of the heap in terms of handgun self-defense effectiveness.

Has there been any comparison between these two loads in snub nose 357 Magnum revolvers such as "J" frame 2- and 3-inch barreled revolvers - but disregarding fierce muzzle blast and recoil? I'm uncertain how such a comparison might be quantified, but I suspect the comparison would be as valid as other evaluations that are generally accepted as valid.

Buffalo Bore claims 1000 fps and 351 lbs. of ME from their 20A.
The 20B (125-Gr.) is 1050 fps and 306 ME.
I believe I read or heard that Tim Sundles tests these in a snub nosed
revolver.
I have seen reports of the 125 Gr. .357 Remington Golden Saber
clocking about 1200 pfs from a 2+" snub such as Sp101 or Model 60.
I doubt a hitee would know the difference.
Sorry, no real credible tests that I have found.

From my personal Chronograph tests out of my 2" Model 60-7 the BB HEAVY 158 grain LSWCHP-GC .38 Special +P actually does 1015 - 1040 fps. and that equates to about 360 foot lbs of M.E.

As far as firing 125 grain .357's out of a 2" J Frame - not my thing! I don't believe that the extra recoil, flash, pressure and discomfort is worth the gain. In fact the BB 158 Heavy .38 Spl. is already low end Magnum performance equal to the 158grain .357 Mag's. from the "Big 3" ammo Company's ( Win. Rem. Fed. ) out of a 2" barrel. I personally would not push a J Frame (or my hands) much past that.
