Price for JET RP Ammo
I have a full box of RP .22 Jet Ammo. The box is a bit dog eared but full of factory (50 rds) ammo. It is the old yellow and green box.
Any guesses as to a price it should fetch at a gun show?
Never owned a Mod 53 , nor had any interest in one and am out of my area of knowledge here.
Thanks in Advance.

The average price that I see factory .22 Jet ammo at guns shows for is about $60. Occasionally a gun will have boxes of the latest production ammo for as much as $75 but I'll bet they sit on it for a while. One can buy the newly manufactured Privi Partisan .22 Jet ammo for under $30 a box.

When I bought my S&W 53 back in June I searched all the Wal-Marts for ammo, with no luck. The few dealers in Georgia that had vintage Remington ammo wanted $75.00 to $100.00 per box of fifty. I bought a partial box (33 rounds and 17 cases) for $20.00 and fired them all before my PPU ammo arrived. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Guys.
Maybe I can trade it for something I can use.

I'd say $50-$60, have seen some for sale recently in that range. The current PPU ammo has moderated prices of the older stuff.

A good seven years ago I put a box on GunBroker at $50 and the bidding stopped at $94. When I told the buyer I had a second box he bought that one also.
With several companies now offering factory Jet ammo $60-75 is probably more reasonable these days.

Absolutely! The PPU intro has lowered the value of the older ammo - IMO.
The PPU isn't likely as hot as the original but that mitigates some of the Jet's issues with likely lower peak pressures.

Sasa, you didn't say whether you yourself were going to have a table at the gun show or whether you intend to sell your .22 Jet to someone who has a table and has to re-sell it. If the latter, I'd be surprised if you get more than $40 for it. More likely $35.
