Great news from Hornady about my favorite caliber.

New 41 Magnum Ammo introduced with their FTX bullet..

l was greatly disappointed that Smith & Wesson DID NOT

celebrate the 41's Fiftieth Anniversary in 2014..

Apparently Hornady doesn't think the 41 Magnum is DEAD.

Now, if marlin would do another run of 1894s in 41 so I could replace the one I lost 5 years ago.

There are a lot of calibers out there that are falling to the side...........
to the brand new loads and designs with the fancy manes and plastic guns.

One just has to stay on top of it all.

I wonder how this would preform in say a 4" revolver. 1620 specs from a 10" barrel maybe 1250-1300 from a 4' barrel.

Funny thing is that there are fewer manufacturers today who make .41 Magnums but there is more ammo that ever before...

And I was also VERY disappointed that Smith chose not to honor their own...

Since Henry now has three models of .41 now in their catalog, they are putting Marlin/Freedom Group to shame...
