Been to several local "big" guns and ammo stores looking for .22 WMR, only found one carrying it in town, with a big price tag ($22/50 rounds). Searched the net for CCI V-Max 30 grain and the cheapest with shipping came out to about $17 a box, somewhat better. Finally dropped in to a shop that got rather low "Yelp" rating, and on the shelf were dusty boxes of CCI for $15.22, the price tag faded with age. Even with tax, came out cheaper than on-line for same ammo. My first purchase of 2017!

For several years, I couldn't find any brand anywhere. And then about a year and a half ago, one of my LGS stated getting several brands in decent quantities. I like the Hornady 30 gr and have been able to get it at will ever since..in fact picked up 100 for a friend just a couple of days ago. Decently priced too I might add...$15/50.
