Penetrator..
..the 700gr lead rounds flatten and lose their original weight when hitting aome5thing hard

The 500gr Hornady XTP(middle) did the best penetrating for me, and kept 95% of its weight...the 700gr (right) smashed amd lost over half its weight , it started out 700gr, ended up 348gr (pictured)

I have to ask...why do you want sooooo much penetration?

Each one of the rounds in my post above, will go clean through 1/8" plate steel AND KEEP GOING through 4 layers of a truck door...

What do you plan on stopping?...a tank?..a runaway dozer?

I honestly think penerator rounds out of a 500 is wayyyy overkill, and could possibly cause a lawsuit, due to serious overpenetration.

I was just wondering you see a lot of videos on you tube comparing a hollow point to a 700 grain hardcast for penetration wich if you ask me is kinda pointless i think you know wich wins if the hollow point expands properly

I've seen the videos.... about recoil, people not being able to control them, etc, etc

Here is a video of me "one handing" a 700gr round...this was the very first time I did it.
Notice barely any muzzle rise,...
