Default Hotshot 9MM Ammo

Has anyone here had any experience with this? Price and shipping are extremely attractive...

I'd hold off on this.

There's a Cabela's in my state, so if I were to order, there'd be tax, along with the $5 shipping.

In comparison, I recently bought a case of Magtech 115gr FMJ (brass) from Sportsman's Guide, $182 shipped. Without figuring out the taxes to the exact figure, I would still say that the Magtech deal was cheaper, for a brass case, known manufacturer.

I don't shoot steel-cased 9mm (I do in Makarov and other Russian calibers like for my SKS and Mosin), but if I did, I'd opt for Tula, Wolf, or Red Army over Hot Shot.

+1. While I'm sure it's fine ammo, you can get steel case from Sportsmansguide for $0.15-0.16 shipped ($7.5-$8 per box) and brass cased for under $0.20.

Or you could hit up the Remington rebate for 5 boxes and come out about $0.15 a round shipped for brass cased when you receive the rebate back
