Default 357 Magnum hunting ammunition?

Among factory 357 Magnum ammunition oriented toward hunting, what are the three or four that stand out as better?

My filters are the following.
1. Nickel plated cases.

2. Bullet weight of 150 grains and heavier. (If any of these is a WFN cast lead alloy, please mention it.)
***
I filtered for nickeled case to reduce corrosion caused by ammunition stored on cartridge loops - on belts, belt slides, or drop pouches. As I type, the only centerfire handgun ammunition I own (38 Special and 45 Colt) has nickel cases.

Just any Winchester,Remington, Hornaday 158 grain JSP should do the job on anything up to deer size critters, black bear may need a bit heavier slug.

It is hunting ammo..........

the animals are not shooting back, so brass or nickel has nothing to do with it.

150 gr bullets.....?

So you are going hunting for game, smaller than deer, then.
That is a great weight for yotes and badger. Go for it.

Naphtali--It actually shoots amazingly well. I shoot in longer barrel .357 N Frames and a 686 with 6 inch barrel. Really no big noticeable difference in recoil over a 158 grain bullet.

Underwood also has a 255 grain hardcast offering in the .45 ACP which is an excellent round plus they have hardcast wadcutters in both .44 special and .44 magnum.

I LOVE Underwood ammo.

I have never hunted, but investigated heavy ammo for woods walks. For the thick-skinned bears and feral hogs that are around here, the Swift A-Frame design has a good reputation of expansion and penetration.

Though not typically found on factory .357, Federal has put it on the market recently, and the reviews I've read are good. No first-hand experience though.

Buffalo Bore or Double Tap 180 gr WNFP cast loads. For deer, any factory 158 gr JSP would do at close range (up to 50 yds)

If I had to buy 357 factory stuff for hunting I would go with ' Underwood " 180gr ammo . They do a great job , a lot of good reviews . I cast and reload so my 180gr flat nose loaded with a max charge ( current load data ) of W296 / H110 would be my choice .
