Default MILSTOR MagDisc

I was cleaning a few guns for a friend, when I found in a box with a 22 revolver three 12 gauge shells labeled MILSTOR MagDisc. They have FIOCCHI 12 USA stamped in the rim. They have a clear plastic case and they seem to be 12 discs stacked on top of each other. Any info on them would be greatly appreciated.

I know what you are referring to, but I can't provide any details. I remember seeing similar shells 10-15 years ago, sold for home defense use. Sort of like the old idea of filling a shotshell with dimes. "Keep the change, Bob." (from Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid)
