I have a (1) time FREE SHIPPING code for some Freedom Ammunition. I was wanting to know if the reman. ammo is worth buying/using? I will be buying ammo in .40 S&W and .223/5.56. In .40 S&W I want ammo for target practice and personal defense. In .223/5.56 I want ammo just for paper punching.
Any suggestions on which ammo to buy is greatly appreciated.

If it's Freedom Munitions, I use it for range ammo in 9mm and it's great. I think there are better choices for defensive ammo, but I've never shot their JHP.

Freedom Munitions has a good reputation.
Freedom AMMUNITION, not so much.

Like any ammo, you have to give it a try. I've been ordering 9mm from FM for my XDm for two years now with no issues. So I recently ordered some reman .38 sp for my 66 and have had FTFs in each box. The gun runs flawlessly with factory Blazer Brass. Live and learn. Like stated above. It's good practice ammo, but wouldn't trust it for self defense or competition.

Any opinions on their NEW XTP 180 gr. .40 caliber ammo?

I've shot about 700 rounds of their reman 165gr .40 without a problem.
Good for punching holes in stuff.
Don't know anything about the XTP stuff.
May be good, but hard to know compared to Gold Dots, HSTs, and the like.

IMO, Freedom Munitions reman ammo is decent. I've used it in 9mm, .38 Spl, .357 Magnum, .40, .45, .223, and .556. I've had zero issues.

With regard to their new XTP ammo. I've used it in 9mm (in Beretta, Glock, Ruger, Sig, S&W, and Walther), .38 Spl (Ruger, S&W) .40 (Beretta, CZ), and .45 (Ruger). It cycled through several firearms with zero issues.

I've used both their reman and new stuff in 9mm and 45 acp. I love it. Cycles great through all my guns and point of impact is as good as any big name brands.

Freedom Munitions has been my go-to for ammo for awhile now.
I've ordered 9mm, .38 spl & 357, 380 and .45 acp. also 223.
All shot well and were economically priced with free shipping.
I order by the case, sometimes me and my friends get together and order many cases!

Everyone is well satisfied with the ammo it seems.

I ordered 100 rounds of NEW Hornady XTP 180 gr. .40 caliber and 100 rounds of NEW FMJ 180 gr. .40 caliber. I am going to stay with SGAmmo.com for my .223/5.56 ammo.

You should be pleased with it. Freedoms remanufactured ammo has been flawless for me in all sorts of calibers and pistols.

Who watches the watchers?

This is good information that needs to be heeded. There are 2 sites with the "Freedom" name, and one is very respected and has been around awhile.

The other is piggybacking off the former's name, and their reloads are generally pretty spotty.

Not sure if it's allowed here, but if it is, can you post a link to the home page of the company you have the code to?

Watch Freedom Munitions if you have an older model revolver with the firing pin on the hammer. They refunded me for 10 boxes that had hard primers that had a 30-40% failure rate in my Model 36. I even had it looked at by my gunsmith and the gun was fine.
Every other brand of ammo works great. They did work in my 442 though. As to remanufactured, I had a couple cases where the brass split and got stuck in the cylinder.
