Default $5 a box .380

Stopped by my local Wallys World last night to grab a few things, and peaked in the ammo case. They had some pretty good prices on most ammo in the case. WWB 9mm 200 rounds for $37, pretty good deal. That was until I saw $5 a box of Perfecta .380

Snapped up all five boxes and left feeling pretty good about it. Now to be fair, if someone told me they picked up a box of .380 for $5 I'd be a tad bit skeptical, so here's a pic of the case.

Did you get a rain check for the other 50 boxes you wanted?

That's an amazing price but you've put me in a profound quandary...

I want to go check my two local WalMarts but how can I do so safely unless I already have at least 13 rounds of .380 in my pocket (6+1+6)?

I won't go into a WalMart without a HazMat suit.

Ironically, there's a lot of truth in that statement! The closest WalMart here isn't in the nicest of neighborhoods. They tolerate panhandlers in the entry foyer is whatever it is called. I haven't been hit up every time - but prolly half of the time there is someone panhandling there. I minimize my trips there - but the trick is to get there while the ... ahem ... esteemed shoppers are still reclining at home ... I don't go there unless I'm carrying although their anti-shoplifting gate thingies make me nervous when I walk through ...

Yep $5 for a box of 380 is unreal. I don't have any 380 guns now but at that price I would buy as many boxes as WM would let me. Around here I think WM still has a 3 box limit but not sure since they now have quite a selection of ammo in stock.

Amazing how ammo for some reason is widely available since Obama got replaced.
